Since months ago, Mayweather has publicly been saying he planned to do a lot of rounds, not take the fight seriously, have some fun for the crowd, and make big stacks of cash. He’s been basically saying “this will be a dumb fight, but I will get paid.” Also if he legit hurts Paul he probably has less chance of some other dumbass signing up to make him more money.
