I really want the Lucha Brothers to be the team that takes the titles, as good as they are teaming with Eddie or PAC any of those pairings just doesn't feel right with the titles. It's a shame the Lucha Bros are currently trapped in some sort of curse where one them is always injured at any given time.

this is cool but its been almost a year and I think it would have been a good time for another parking lot fight actually just after making this post I realize it would be very dumb to make one of your first shows back on the road have a big match that was pre filmed not in front of the crowd.

Basically be in a Jericho role for the new kids, while Jericho puts over the guys carrying the company in the immediate future like OC, MJF, Sammy, Jungle Boy, etc. Hell, both guys were even used to establish the titles. Once they put someone over big, they’ve never floated near those belts again.

i don't think it will happen but it'd be cool if once Hangman gets the belt off Kenny, Cody starts trying to befriend him because of the shared american iconography between them and gets frustrated how over Hangman is while his american exceptionalism angle is met with a more tepid response. Then he asks for a fight ignoring the no world champion challenge stip, gets it, loses, they reconcile, and MJF gets loving incensed that Cody broke it. My running theory has always been that Hangman and MJF have been on a collision course ever since they established themselves as the top rising talent face and heel respectively so this slips that in nicely.

Tranq dart finish is reserved for Miro, surely I can see Eddie and Penta taking the titles and Pac really not liking it and breaking up Death Triangle. Like, in principle.
