Yeah material reality doesn't really feed into politics well at all so they can't handle it, political reality eventually trumps material reality cause thats what they actually engage with daily. And biological reality is even more confusing and rapidly changing, so we just have to hope we get lucky and covid is lenient on us since the government is totally incapable of dealing with a real situation.

A double vaccinated person might do more to hamper Delta transmission than vaccinating two with one dose.
