I think I'm not going to back Arydia, even though I really like it, and I was going to do a really big post about why except it boils down to 2 really simple things for me - I'm already backing Frosthaven - This is a board game attempting to be a video game. It started bad and just kept adding badness on, like some never-ending soap opera. Was there not another old and beloved wargame series (was it Europa?) where there was a decade long saga of promised releases, dribbles of trivial rule tweaks, fires, health problems, tussles with the printer ... (I think it was Europa - there were running jokes about them mapping different grades of peat across Europe and the strategic implications of this.) Yeah almost selling out on the highest tier is weird, especially with how below average everything looks.
