I took the octopath less travelered,

And it made one-eighth the difference.
If I had to choose between my team having Jamal Adams and my team not having Jamal Adams, I’d prefer having Jamal Adams.

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!
The reality is anytime a player who's among the elite of their position signs a new contract it usually makes them the highest paid at their position. So it's hardly surprising that he's resetting the market, especially when you consider the leverage he had over the Seahawks ( they could not afford to waste those picks they traded to get him). In a year or two that contract will not look like a big deal at all.

Yeah of course. But you said he's the best safety which is insane.

What about Adams or 2 1's and a 3 and 70 million of cap room?

Good morning!
If he can stay healthy (big if) Derwin will get paid more than Adams though

This is how contracts work, and Adams is clearly a big part of the defense

Plus those were Seahawks firsts, ie 20th at highest and probably spent on a running back lol

As a reminder, Josh Rosen is younger than Joe Burrow.

The tweet makes it sound like Rosen was unjustifiably and arrogantly demanding more reps.

Fuller quote:

quote:

Rosen, who said he “didn’t feel great” about his outing, was asked about Shanahan’s critique last week. Shanahan said Rosen had taken a “couple steps back” during training camp.

“I don't really get many reps in practice, so you just have to sort of weather the emotional rollercoaster when one or two out of your three throws in live team reps aren't very good,” Rosen said. “So you definitely have to mentally work on keeping sort of a calm head ...

“You just can't do something to try and show off or this, that, or whatever. You just have to say disciplined. If your four throws of the day are going to be two to (running backs) and two in the flats or something like that, then that's what it has to be.”

Guy has one bad season and he’s basically a practice squad body at best.

Meanwhile Darnold has three bad seasons and still has a starting job.

He's good, Very Good, in fact! but his original team dumped him without giving him a second contract, so its hard to say he "worked out" as a draft pick for the Dolphins.

I may quibble with some of the specific players but this is the exact reason I hate when people say poo poo like "Dump your decent veteran QB and go young!" Do you know how loving rare a decent veteran QB actually is? It's unlikely that a draft pick ever even becomes Kirk Cousins let alone another Mahomes.

Tim Tebow won more playoff games than Sam Bradford and has been relevant more recently in the NFL.

e: Looking at it, Sam Bradford has never had a winning season as a starter (unless you count his 2-0 record with the Vikings before getting injured) while Tebow went 7-4 in 2011.

Wentz had an MVPish season that got his team in position to win a super bowl, and got the Eagles a 3rd and either a 2nd or 1st, he at least arguably worked out. Similar rationale for Goff. Both have "worked out" more than Baker and Mark Sanchez lol

Unless they got cut after the draft and before off-season workouts. Then It sounds like they might not have worked out. One could also argue that JaMarcus Russell never worked out.
