I strike one after every poo poo. You would be amazed how quick the poo poo smell is neutralized. I find those sprays terrible but the matches really work.

I used to keep a box of Swan Vestas ("The Smoker's Match"), because striking them on the wall or the surface of a table looks cool. Unfortunately they've changed them into ordinary strike-on-box matches recently, which is much less fun. Something to do with the cost of shipping the ingredients used in the strike anywhere formula.

Ali watch stuff Basically Casio released a new g shock during the pandemic called ga2100. It looks like the uber fancy PA royal oak and it became a hot seller. So metal kits showed up on aliexpress that let you mod the watch to look even more like the royal oak. I already knew the metal bracelet is too heavy and big for my taste, so I only got the metal bezel version.  Here is what it looks like with the brushed metal bezel and nato strap adopter, on the right.  On the left is the a fake bootleg I also got on aliexpress for $35. I buy a lot of g shock modding accessories on ali. It's very rare to see ali sell actual bootleg with casio branding on it. I just want to get one to see what the quality is. It's okay. About 90% like the real thing. It's thicker and the glass is not scratch resistant, but the movement itself is about on par. However its glass and the bezel is glued into one piece, I can't couple the metal kit on it like the real thing. So I blacked out the branding and swapped the nato mod on it.

Willing to admit I am the weird one here, but I just really enjoy the scent of a freshly struck match. I am always burning unscented dollar-store candles just for an excuse to strike one. My roommate, who does not understand, keeps buying me different types of lighters and scented candles for birthdays/Xmas.  So as not to be completely off thread topic, has anyone bought decorative unscented candles from Ali? I figure they must be from the same source as the plain white tealights I get at the dollar store, but maybe there's something fancier out there?

I recently ordered this e-scooter, in gray and shipped from Poland (I'm in the EU). I was looking every few days, and it did not get shipped. Then, when the shipping window closed, I went to send a message to the seller to ask what's up - only to find that there were several messages per day from the seller saying "we're out of gray, is red ok?". Now, I got 0 notification of these messages, even though the single "email notification" setting is "enabled" in my AliExpress settings. So now, I need to wait until I get my refund and re-order, and the item listing says "no longer available". I can not find this model in the store listing any more... I mean, the listing's there, just that the item page says "not available". I guess I missed my chance for one of these?

I've had a TON of messages slip through the cracks that way, I have never in my life been notified that a seller messaged me something I actually wanted to know. Trying to turn on notifications of any kind just gets me fake deal alerts and still doesn't tell me when a seller messages me directly. It's the jankiest aspect of an already jank website.

Ali has a ton of silicone molds for candles and the like, and basic candle wax + wicks are pretty common to find in hobby shops. If you just look up stearin for candle making you can buy it by the kilo, melt it down and dump it into a mold of your choosing.  But yeah if you just want basic tealights, Ikea and the like sells like 100-packs or whatever for pretty reasonable prices.
