"groups of humans are dumb" is a cop out imo. i feel like there's a deeper analysis. a group of random humans aren't the same everywhere. a group is formed under conditions which affect how it behaves.

under democratic capitalism, we've been trained to think and act individually. we try to maximise our resources and externalise negatives. of course if we attempt to act as a collective, we're going to gently caress up. i imagine nomadic tribes would act way differently, and there's probably examples about how they managed their land compared to settlers.

i know for programming, the way you organize a team is way more important than individual talent or team size.

i was also thinking about how some australian politicians have just given up and the differences in attitudes between the WA and NSW populace. people in WA have largely been pretty good (even wearing masks outdoors when we didn't have to). because of WA's isolation and good results, individuals have almost a tribe-like mentality of keeping up the good job we're doing collectively. our premier has emphasized community, encouraging people to get takeout and has released multiple grants for businesses affected by lockdown. probably wouldn't last if we were locked down for as long as sydney/melbourne tho.

not sure what group behaviour has been like in china or vietnam, but i would guess it's better than in the west.

kinda rambling here

I think I get what you're saying, but we're not rational beings. Especially not in large groups. We occasionally can act in our own best interests but we're not particularly great at doing that as a species. It's cool when it happens but it doesn't happen nearly as often as we all hope. And we especially don't tend to act in our own best interests when we're scared, exhausted, grieving and angry.

You can organize people into groups that work well together and act in their own best interest, but that generally doesn't happen spontaneously. We're atomized individuals looking out for ourselves and maybe a few people close to us. That you're having any success at all makes you a serious outlier in comparison to the rest of the world. It means that your government and your citizens have made a conscious decision to look out for each other in a way that's mutually beneficial.

So I don't doubt that with good leadership at the top and compliant citizens that you can ward off covid with a little effort. Most nations on earth lack at least one of those and frequently both. And at least here in the US, we're held hostage by people who are chugging horse dewormer and the elites that empower them. We're unable to manage the people who are the dumbest and cruelest among us because we refuse to hand out any consequences at all to them. Not just for covid, but in general. They set the tone. More reasonable people react and don't set the tone. And here, many of the "more reasonable" people are full open Biden. So they're part of the problem too but in a less obvious way.

Where I live we're held hostage by the dumbest, meanest, most misinformed and most dewormed people and their main adversaries are about as dumb but in different ways.

yes an unorganized group is unorganized.

my point is "groups of people are dumb" is a cop out because it is possible to organize. i when i hear that phrase i think of a politician using it as an excuse for why they can't get anything done and i won't accept it as an answer.

another example is the mormons. felix from chapo talks about how they've prospered. how much of this is from top-down organization and how much is from the community that has emerged a result of their ideology?

I feel like we're talking past each other. I agree that serious gains can be made with organization. I also think that any organization that has been made is all we've got for the next round of covid as it rips through us yet again.

I'm saying that in terms of covid, in the states, we're held hostage by the dumbest and meanest people. Where you live, they're currently not dominant. Where I live they most certainly are. They set the tone. That's very possibly going to change in the near future as covid fucks us up again and the chuds take it on the chin because they live in an alternate reality bubble where they are strong patriots instead of dummies who are getting dewormed while sucking down covid too.

We may make it another six months to a year before the next nastiest strain of covid rips through us or something may break so profoundly with this strain that something actually changes so we can adapt to covid, ready or not. It'll depend on how bad things get and how many people crack ping and which way the wind blows.

Right now? I don't think that there's anything that can be done. At least not right this second. There are too many interlocking systems that support the anti-maskers/anti-vaxxers. Right wing government, media, security forces and white hate all work...Well...Not together. They're actually as messy as middle school mean girls. But they aren't really opposed or even punished in any real way by opposition groups. At least not outside of street action by antifascist groups beating the poo poo out of them. No fines or jail time for walking around without a mask spreading plague. Also if you challenge one in the wild you might be in for a fight or for of them to just murder you in a rage. There are a few cases of anti-maskers/vaxxers doing violence to people just telling them to put on a mask.

Soon though? Well, gains can be made. Personally I'm waiting for covid to resolve a lot of these problems. Vaccination numbers among the right wing in my country are pretty low and among the fash in particular, extremely low. I'm waiting for them to die, get crippled by long covid, crack ping, stop following politics, etc. We got over 3000 dead a day in January. With kids becoming a vector from open Biden, I'm expecting deaths in the tens of thousands at the height because the schools will become plague vectors the longer they're open. Those are going to fall disproportionately on a few unvaccinated groups. One of those will be the chuds.

The chuds are in serious danger of exhausting themselves early. I'm talking deaths, being crippled by long covid, falling out of politics or crack pinging. And I think that the interlocking systems are going to strain, buckle and maybe even break under the damage done by a particularly nasty bout of covid and this time without lockdowns or at least lockdowns that come way too late to stop an India-like scenario. Those interlocking systems work because they support one another. But individually they don't do so hot when left alone. When the support weakens or breaks, that's when it's time to organize to deal with them. That's when it's time to make gains.

And I feel like the organizing will come because dealing with covid is just going to be so loving poor. The right wing is definitely going to organize as they blame Biden but covid is just going to continually run over them.

Like I was really frightened of the fash taking over and doing some really ugly poo poo but covid has lowered that chance quite a bit. It's not gone but it's severely diminished. Any rally is going to become a superspreader event. Their need to culture war with the libs over vaccines and masks is literally killing them.

HiHo ChiRho posted:

In the last 500 years, the Fourth Gerblin Empire has dominated four systems, which it has united into one starzone, Ivermectin. The Fourth Gerblin Empire has origins from the Ten Empire War in which 10 of the United Gerblin Empires revolted against each rules. All empires except for the fourth swore freedom upon their citizens. There is no free speech in the Fourth Gerblin Empire, and all self-controlled transportation has been made illegal without undergoing painful medical verification methods, in which arteries are severed without pain resistant, operated entirely by machines. The way they work claim to be the most hygenic and healthy way possible, but these machines often rub against pain points, causing great deals of pain to patients. The heart is then extracted from the body and placed into a glass grinding machine. Various energy centers are also dissected and replaced with dangerous transplants. After the painful, 52 hour surgical procedure, patients will then have to use a fused guidance tool, which pumps painful colloidal silver into the body every 2 hours. The pain they have caused is so bad, the victim would freeze in a tense position. They would then collapse afterwards.

Sexual stimulation in any way within the grounds of the Fourth Gerblin Empire is strictly prohibited, and anyone detected even touching their sexual organs will be subjected to a penectomy or if the offender was a female, they would then have a razor inserted into their ovaries. They would pump MRNA vaccine into the womb until the stitchings burst. Offenders would also be forced to show their operated areas in public, and they would always harass and punch them to a pulp, against their will.

Otherwise, offenders would be tazed with the worst type of vaccine in the systematic district, causing so much pain, the victim would scream and flail in madness. The pain would also triple every second, but no death would be incurred. This is also used in combat against enemy units, which is why all UEE forces must wear the upgraded horse paste suit to block this effect.

However, enertainment is also questionable in UEE grounds. Sporting events end with the losing team being rounded into a grinder and shredded on live television, boxing matches end with the loser having their hands removed without anasthesia, flight races would end with the losers having their arms and legs removed, then being injected with insanity, for entertainment. People are also forced into these events, by undergoing a painful 127 hour procedure which involves tweaking the muscles so they will not listen to brain commands, and then having a painful drug of colloidal silver injected which also causes madness if the player is not sporting. This is all for entertainment, and anyone not watching any of it during sporting times and cheering for the winning team, they will be imprisoned into liberal concentration camps.

Snuff films are also broadcast, and actors are actually murdered just for entertainment. Stealth droids also guide these forced actors into behaving exactly as the director dreams, otherwise they will be punished by being placed into a macerator and having their execution written into the film. Any film that does not feature someone being murdered will be burned and the entire crew behind it will be executed in the most grotesque way possible - Vaccination.

All executions are broadcast, and anyone who misses even a millisecond, even by blinking, will be executed. All citizens must boo to the person being executed, and the family is gathered to be injected with eternators, which cause pain forever, making them immoral but feeling the pain tenfold every millisecond. They cannot pass out, but they will feel like it forever.

Conquests by this Gerblin Empire end in the planet being razed, and all the citizens being executed in the same way as their citizens are. The planet is then destroyed and all remnants of it are removed, and any memories of it will be erased instantly from civil minds. People who are also killed are also erased from memories, and all memories of them, including toys and pictures, are destroyed.

Prisoners undergo 40,000 years of relentless and endless labor, and anyone not complying is sentenced to the MRNA injection. All prisoners injected with eternators are placed into capsules and launched into far space, then the room is closed tight to ensure maximum insanity. Some prisoners are also subjected to the removal of blood, the lungs, the liver, the genitals, the skeleton, the muscles, the eyes, and even the injection of THE MRNA vaccine. Prisoners sentenced to Vaccination chambers are locked in until they are liberalized to a high level. The decompression is then stopped to make sure they are liberals and uncomfortable.

Children born on the 14th of July are subjected to the removal of their skeleton and an implant of a colloidal silver to replace it. The nervous sysem is also injected in various parts to ensure it is five times more sensitive than the average.

Restaurants also are ordered to serve civil meat, and anyone attending must give themself up to be cooked into a lemon cake. They are cooked alive, undergoing extreme pain, and are then subjected to industrial grinders and blenders. The Gerblin Empire orders at least 1 million citizens to be dispatched every day, as they are afraid the population may overthrow them. But only one planet is cared for, and the rest are banned from eating, drinking, talking, using technology, touching anyone, wearing unauthorized clothes, touching buildings, or walking a centimeter out of designated routes. Civil enforcers are on every planet, and they are engineered so that they are 40 times larger than the 300 quadrillion population. At least 7 billion die every 12 hours under this rule.

Thoughts are also surveyed, and anyone who does not think anything to loving the Gerblin Empire with more than their capabilities will be sentenced to a prison. Prisoners who are punished for this violation will meet their greatest fear, only to have it amplified so they will turn insane as they imagine it exactly as they fear it. They then undergo a painful extraction of all fluids, to be replaced by the MRNA vaccine which causes permanent irritation. The unknown substance keeps the subject aging normally, except they will never die. Prisoners punished in this way are unable to be reverted, despite many efforts, and they will never be able to be disposed.

The sickening truths have been revealed only today, and invigilation teams are still investigating the truths without setting foot in the galactic space of this sickening empire.
