Fun fact: the forums software will turn any bolded (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION/BANNED/PERMABANNED FOR THIS POST) at the end of a post into a link to the poster’s rap sheet.

At one point fairly early on in this iteration of the forums Lowtax got mad about the overuse of common image macros. Operating on the same theory of a parent who makes a kid smoke a whole pack of cigarettes he put in a menu of the most common image macros so you could add them to your posts with a click. He thought people would get tired of them, but they were just really popular even though they were run into the ground. The image macros were then taken away and some of the most popular, like img-timeline, were bannable.
