DnD is a great pulse for your average Democrat voter: watches too much cable news and believes literally everything they broadcast. It's funny that sometimes these narratives are contradictory, for example the Afghanistan pullout was a complete disaster, and the news reported it as such going to far as to blame Biden for it. However, as soon as Biden came out and gave the marching orders of "actually it went pretty good!" and all of a sudden everyone forget that Afghani collaborators were falling off of planes, getting trampled at the airport, and bombed by the government that was supposed to evacuate them. It's really a perfect pitri dish examination as to how anyone will believe anything if the right people say it, and the perfidious Cuban Mind Beam is really just a punctuation at the end of the dumbest sentence on the internet.

This is the thread for making fun of bad lib takes. I personally prefer to focus on Twitter superstars, but some people prefer to focus on the libs within our own borders. I dunno, personally I got a Twitter to fight in the Posting Wars, but I'm kind of over it. The Posting Wars are a foreverwar. Nobody has their mind changed online, and the question of whether you win or lose comes down to who has more friends paying attention. If you invest yourself in trying to win either the local posting war or the larger one, you're just setting yourself up for feeling angry and terrible all the time for pretty much no gain, and I have a perfectly good job to do that for me, thank you very much Yes, still find bad takes, yes, still laugh at them, but log off in your heart

The occasional bad D&D post is fine, the constant D&D posts border on making this just D&D. I can go over and read their poo poo myself, and if I do, I don't want to be accused of brigading because I'm yelling at something people are syqing over here. Of course, more and more you can't yell at anyone in D&D but then the syqing here just makes me feel helpless and pissed and like logging off. It's fine in moderation, but it's been excessive lately.

Generally speaking, the "Annoying Thing" that we do is engage in discussions that point out that the Democrats are poo poo instead of praising them for at least being poo poo with peanuts in it. I mean, obviously there's some shitposting and trolling and that is what it is, but for the most part, it's legitimately just not patting Dems on the back for doing the same poo poo we spent four years complaining about Republicans doing.
