For a limo it has got to ride like complete dog poo poo. I'm willing to bet the people renting it have no idea what they are getting into until the fillings in their teeth are falling out

Thank you! The guy who was going to buy it ended up backing out due to CT apparently being a huge pain in the rear end to get street legal in, so I've decided to take a bit more time with it and make it actually street legal here, rather than try to bull through the inspection. That means I need to install mechanical parking brakes and a laminated safety glass windshield, both of which will take a bit of fab work. Come spring I want to put a turbo kit on it as well.

Is it controversial to say that concealed headlights that don't deploy at the same speed are worse than static headlights?

Nah, part of the fun is having ones without a proper relay setup being lazy. It's amusing. Getting your car to wink? Adorable.

If you press the button on the dashboard of an NA MX-5 not quite all the way in a few times, you can get the headlights to start popping up and down on alternating sides. It's hilarious, but probably not good for the actuators.

Yes.

I think it adds character.

I wanted to make the lincoln be able to wink but the headlight covers are connected by 4 big heavy bars specifically to appease people who think uneven opening = not luxury. The cougar used individual vacuum pots and there could be as much as a second difference on cold days.

Maybe i'll do it to the corolla.

The Montreal, probably one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. I always forget the headlights "open," they're barely concealed in the first place.

Still, I would do dirty things for one.

The double headlights is definitely one of those, but the one at 0:30 is the one that's been under discussion.

The hood cut-outs and the little holes in the wing mirrors are the tell.
