the process is obviously cooler than the results they present, but a $30k set of wheels is going on a car with crocodile leather so it has to fit the theme.

They have some that look like them watches that could either be $280,000 or come from a mall kiosk it's hard to tell.

It is a prison sentence to clean that wheel.

They could have used the tech to make impossible geometries that are useful like hollow spokes but no, they had to make something that looks like a computer render error.

These should be 5.5, 5.7 at most to beat Jesko's cf wheels; and 6.9 or less to be function>form category, imo.

Going through dad's photo album again

Taken around 1980, baja bug convertible and a 1957 Chevy 210 4 door sedan. I clearly remember riding around in both, and once sliding off the front seat of the '57 and cracking my head against that big steel dash.

And this is what happens when a family member gets rear-ended and decides it's not worth fixing their LTD.

My dad makes a Sedanchero out of it. I don't think I ever rode in this, but I did see my dad burn rubber over half a city block with it.

The lack of ANY generation of Mazda RX-7 is a crime. I'm biased, of course.

Memento posted:

If you press the button on the dashboard of an NA MX-5 not quite all the way in a few times, you can get the headlights to start popping up and down on alternating sides. It's hilarious, but probably not good for the actuators.

Nah, it doesn't hurt them all other than maybe a bit more wear. Mazda uses single-direction motors with crank arms. They're not reversing or anything - the motor just keeps going around. The mechanism is nearly identical to my first-gen RX-7. Oddly, the center console ashtray *is* identical, which means I can also use the NA Miata "cupholder" insert. (Just a bit of trivia.)
