All the fancy gear the Iraqis bought for their airforce either became usable or had a massive drop in mission availability. Some investigation into this failed aspect of the ANA not surprising found it was US defense contractors who lobbied for this plan obviously for $$$ reasons even though it left the ANA with overly complex equipment not optimized for the operating environment. US-style Colonialism working as intended!
