President ain't the boss of Congress, Speaker Trump is gonna spend all his time hollering about how he's the boss of the legislature and the legislature is just as big a swinging dick as the executive, some say even bigger, perhaps the biggest of the constitution's three swinging dicks
I'm coming around to the Speaker Trump expectation, it's the perfect race for him: one he can't lose. He's already lost a presidential election, he hates the idea of losing a second one... but if the GOP takes the House next year, and he decides he wants to be speaker, they're all gonna have to vote for him or get run out of the party.

Yep. For me the all-time funniest movie I ever saw was blazing saddles. But then it has to do with the time it was produced and my age at the time.

Today’s “humor” critics wouldn’t know good humor if it slapped them in the face. A laugh a minute doesn’t mean anything. The Three Stooges were hilarious! Sure, they were violent and silly, and as a kid I laughed like crazy at their antics. As an adult, they are still just as funny, but when I think of the planning, script writing and execution that went into their films, I marvel , and that makes it even more enjoyable.
The ingenuity of the comics of the past can’t be beat by “laughs-a-minute”.
I could go on and on with this. At any rate, laughing is good for the soul…

The reason is here are a lot of Freepers who haven’t laughed since the stone age. They are simply so serious, nothing registers.
The next reason is that this includes movies made AFTER 1970. Again, a lot of Freepers haven’t set foot in a theater since the wheel was invented.
The third, and probably most important...people find different things funny. MY version of funny probably different than yours. I respect that. I would never foist my sense of humor on anyone.
If these lists could inspire “conversation” about the silly things in life, that would be fun. But instead they inspire posts that sound like my cranky old uncles sitting at the end of the bar in the local Vets club in 1982.
So, enjoy what you enjoy. If there are movies on this list that you haven’t seen...give them a watch some day instead of sitting through the daily news. I have to imagine that a bad funny movie is better than the news.

I gave $50 to a charity out of Harlem so that a couple kids could go see Black Panther and get snax and whatever.
Kinda wish I coulda been in the theater with that shittty freeper so I could invade their personal space and burp in their face. gently caress off, shitbird. That movie meant a lot to people.

Blazing Saddles is two different comedies: a 'laugh at the crude and offensive stuff' shock-comedy, and a satire about how stupid the people who like that first comedy are.
Anyone who thinks you can't making Blazing Saddles today didn't see the second one.
