Rexxed posted:Fran of FranLab has been going through her film archive and digitizing and putting some of it on YouTube. This GM film from 1982 "The Gasoline Engine" explains how gas engines work has some great 80s cut away art and animation. Reminds me of watching films or video tapes in the classroom when I was a kid. Despite its age it'd be a great primer for anyone to watch to learn about how gas engines work and what the basic components are. That's awesome. I really enjoy the GM/Jam Handy and Ford videos from the 30s/40s on mechanical basics like transmissions and differentials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiZjHwO3NOA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYAw79386WI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=648VcHCm-3g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKemp9VKIaA

Funnily enough, it’s one of the most stolen car since the fca locks/immobilizer are trivial to pick/elude. One colleague is buying one and every dealer told him to get the biggest/most comprehensive insurance package he can afford on it.
