Whatever amount Steam is making from porn games they could definitely make a lot more if they had some kind of "shadow purchase" option where a game doesn't show up in your activity in any way but without requiring you to full-on appear offline.

I'm pretty sure you can tell Steam not to share when and what you are playing. It's still Steam, so whether or not it works is a different thing.

If someone really wants to play the anime tiddies game on Steam but doesn't want it on their main account or their friends to know it is trivial to create a different account for such purpose. One would think nude patches would still be a thing because Steam is not the entire universe, so there are still gonna be lots of platforms/distributors that refuse to sell porn (and/or can't because horny is illegal in their country) so there would still be a market for censored technically non-smut, plus developers might try to fly under the radar to avoid having their game tagged as [definitely porn] for a wide variety of reasons which mysteriously always translate into "money" Also if someone wants to gameboob but is too embarrassed by the prospect of their mom/coworkers/etc knowing they've got porn games in their library, there's skyrim/slab/etc.

You can still see steam friends' libraries though. There's even a neat checkbox for "filter to games you both own" which is kinda useful for picking a game to play together... but annoyingly you can't filter out singleplayer games.
