I will admit the quality in the animation department is leagues better than what we got at release but that's not saying much. I'm still willing to bet the combat will still be fundamentally terrible seeing as the best they could do for patch 1.25 was a weakness system being stapled on top of the current fighting system.

Based on watching some of the OneyPlays LP, the game seems to be really far up its own rear end. Personally, I found nearly every character to be completely insufferable, to the point that I tapped out like halfway through the series. The battle system also seems like something that is fun and interesting for exactly 5 seconds, until you realize that you will need to grind random battles and you will therefore have to deal with a constant barrage of the same handful of micro-games for a 20-30 hour RPG. In other words, it is the perfect game for someone else to subject themselves to so that goons can laugh at the suffering and bond over a shared love for ripping things to pieces. Given the Visual Novels already done (fate/stay night, DDLC, Katawa Shoujo, Ace Attorney [I think], AI: The Somnium Files, Danganronpa, Long Live the Queen, the Zero Escape series, etc), I've been thinking of covering True Remembrance. Technically speaking, there are no multiple choices or anything in it like most visual novels, which would make this less of a Let's Play and more of a Let's Read with pictures and music, but I think it can work by way of giving goons the opportunity to discuss the storyline, plot events, and guess on stuff that we aren't told outright. Is doing a Kinetic Novel okay on SomethingAwful? (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

As long as it's not porn most stuff is fine. I'm kinda questioning doing an LP of something with zero interactivity so maybe a different subforum is a better place for this. Perhaps as a read-along in the Book Bran or ADTRW? But then again, LP is more of a  kind of thing these days so it's probably fine. You'd have to gently caress up pretty bad to be run out of here, after all, this is no longer the ancient times of LP where we had cool rules that were a product of their time, like the pokemon ban.I also noticed a small problem with your profile  It lists two items labeled 2) Those are also not marked as (Done) so I can only assume you haven't done that yet. I'm not saying you can't post but you should not cheat on your own self-imposed challenges. That's unhealthy.

I chgecked out the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky LP linked at the top of the archive, and it looks like all the smilies have broken links. The URLs all link to sub-folders of the update instead of the root domain, i.e. https://lparchive.org/Pokemon-Mystery-Dungeon-Explorers-of-Sky/Update%2001/Smilies/emot-siren.gif (404) https://lparchive.org/Smilies/emot-siren.gif (works correctly) Not sure if the problem is unique to that particular LP.
