I split Utena into thirds because the final arc is transcendent but the middle arc is mind numbingly dull and it didn't feel fair to rate the whole thing together and call it, on average, decent

As you might be able to tell by the title, it is about as subtle as a jackhammer, but it had enough action and melodrama to keep me entertained for 12 episodes just to see what crazy dumb poo poo happened next.
