probably fine if you go in expecting a shonen series where the teen boy is more of the protagonist than the jaded gunhead guy? i had the opposite impression and was turned off by it early on as a result might give it a second chance at some point because it did have a nice style and music

I plowed through to the end it's really good There's a few duds and minor complaints that keep it from being the absolute top of my personal anime renaissance of the past year, but it's probably second or third place

Especially in the second half. Tetsuro is a huge part of the story so definitely go in thinking that it’s more of a ensemble piece because there’s 3 characters that will generally get a bunch of focus but if you’re looking for “Gunhead man fights a bunch of things” you won’t be disappointed. No Guns Life is good Sci-Fi where it plays around with a bunch of interesting questions about what it means to integrate with technology so much and I love the naming conventions the author uses (For example the supermax prison being called Wunder Bender, Spitzbergen the terrorist group) and the anime uses the Unreal engine for its backgrounds to give a cool gritty look to things that I think really works. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a great show, and people should give it a go.

yes. good show. recommended. lightly worse off and more straight than the director's work on strike witches but some concessions are understandable when making a car advertisement at a dying studio excited to see if Luminous Witches becomes his new magnum opus
