in fairness the tactics and war details are pretty clearly ww1 and ww2 smushed together plus some isekai fantasy nonsense. the fake russians are clearly the Soviet Union for example. the fake germany is definitely ww1 germany though, as, well, the author didn’t want to write about a heroic nazi.

I found Tanya mostly kinda boring because it keeps going back to the well of introducing some vengeful antagonist we spend an ep or two pretending is a real threat before the confrontation happens and they're defeated in approximately eight seconds

Almost done with Haruhi Suzumiya; I just need to watch the movie. That said, I saw that there's a show called The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan that I think is tied in some way to the movie. Did that show get dubbed, and if so, is there anywhere (legal) to stream it? I didn't see it on Funimation. Thanks!
