What I want to know is what do people actually talk about in these "communities" of NTF owners? All the NFT boosters talk about "having a strong community" as being integral to an NFT project's success. e.g. this article about "drama in the pudgy penguins community": https://nftska.com/the-rise-and-fall-and-future-of-pudgy-penguins/ But like, drama aside, what do you post about in the Pudgy Penguins community on a normal day? Do people just share their hideous penguin avatars and tell each other they look good? Is it mostly offtopic chat and the whole thing is basically an expensive excuse for lonely people to shoot the poo poo?

I'm sure a few of the nft discords have something approximating a community that talks about random bullshit even if it is full of predatory assholes and spam. If anything, keeping a social component to your scam nft is smart, since lonely nerds might not want to cash out if it means they can't bullshit with their "friends"
