Mail order houses were a big deal a century ago. Pick a house from a catalogue, write a cheque for $2500 and they send a truck over with a boxed up Ikea house for you to assemble. Maybe they're making a comeback?

Unfortunately I am soon going to be in the position to inherit it  but I wouldn't hesitate that it would outlive me too.

Anyone know any good Offroad RC Cars on AliX? Im just looking for something cheap and durable that my kids can use to tear around the lawn and climb some rocks. Its hard to filter out the garbage thats using stuff like loving IR remotes and doesn't even have a steering servo so all you get ist "full lock" or "straight". Not opposed to kits either. I probably have most electronics to kit out a car lying around or i would just order them along with the car. Would like to stay below a hundred bucks all together though.

The company that did the barrel actually does have pictures of other buildings that have been constructed in meat space, so the barrel might be constructable, since their other buildings are all rounded. I don’t think I would trust a lot of them that are renders only, like the second.

Lowes and Home Depot sell prefab houses, and they include delivery and assembly for less than you'd pay for shipping from ali They're listed on the website as sheds, but once you get to the 1000+ square foot multi storey ones, it's pretty obvious what they're actually meant for

My parents' house was a kit house from a company called Deck House. Literally showed up on a truck with a bunch of lumber, each piece marked as to what it was used for . Unlike the previous poster, who said that their grandfather created a house that was basically maintenance-free, ours was a creaky, janky, difficult to heat/cool mess.

I got 45 1/3s, wear a 10.5 us. They fit well, they seem wider than normal Adidas but I've never worn anything in the boost line. Also, there are lots of local companies that do prefab housing and those are way easier to meet building codes with.

For these prefab houses, is it assumed you call in contractors to grade the lot, lay down a pad, and install utility connections before you take over? That takes a lot of the homesteading charm out of the process.

The Aliexpress ones also only figure in shipping to whichever pier they usually ship to in your country, so you still must pay for interstate shipping. Honestly I wouldn't bother. Go for something from HobbyKing. They are global and specialize in RC. Not to mention all the parts you can (and eventually will need to) get. Even upgrades are a-plenty. A friend of mine got into RC Drift stuff and I caught the bug and challenged myself to build a far superior car for half the price. Mine still runs 8 years later and his doesn't.
