I actually just spent some time in Florida this past week, visited the Keys and Everglades National Park, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say that it's a real shame that a state with so much ecological diversity and natural beauty is filled with so many Floridians.

Remember the Freedom Convoy? They did their thing over the weekend. After being told by authorities, "gently caress no, you won't be closing the city" they compromised by agreeing to do a "loop" around DC via 495. They were required to travel at the minimum speed posted. I'm no expert but seems the Ottawa protests (while awful) were helped by having a somewhat coherent set of grievances so they were more likely to attract sympathy at home and abroad and if the covid precautions were rolled back that would be a sign of victory. From what is coming from the DC truck protest seems way more qanon incoherence, so in addition to attracting less support their demands are insane so can't be achieved which makes the whole thing more pointless. And also as it is based around nonsense their leadership seems less competent.
