If my back wasn't broken making me half of the man I was I'd be tempted to go to Ukraine to help in any way I could, spending my life savings to bring suitcases full of tourniquets, combat gauze / quikclot, NPAs, gauze, etc. Instead I sit here and watch innocent people suffer. Does anyone know any actual good charities to help these poor people? Gonna trow $100 their way. I heard the Red Cross isn't good to donate to.

And which Red Cross? There are multiple orgs by that name. The International Committee of the Red Cross is purely focused on war. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies also focuses on other humanitarian concerns iirc. I donated directly to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, which at the moment seems like the org providing the most immediate on the ground support to the local population. https://redcross.org.ua/en/ Hopefully it does a little good, but they seemed reputable to a casual Google search.

Not seen this posted before - An amateur filmed a battle on the 1st day of the war with a hobby drone and you get a pretty clear view of whats going on with both sides. No gore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1dXAs2ybIU&t The analysis/commentary seems reasonable. As its the 1st day the Russians seemed to have the initiative and the Ukranians couldn't tell where the fire was coming from. Lots of grenades being thrown short and the Russians seemed to lack any RPGs to engage the APCs, or weren't going to expose themselves to use them.
