That's where I am, the first listen through has left the least impression on me of all their stuff so we'll see what a few more playthroughs does. Nothing sounded bad at least, and there were definitely some cool hooks. I just didn't notice something that really screamed 'big single' like the last few albums had, which is a shame.

I just wish Ghost would stop singing about the devil so people would stop associating them with metal (because as we all know satan is strictly the domain of metal) and then maybe metal fans could go through a single release without having to assert all over again whether Ghost is good/bad. It's just stadium rock with a religious flair. And Kid Rock is just foul mouthed Bruce Springsteen.

Ghost aint that bad if they're opening up for a nice act which is worth paying to go see. E.g I saw them open up for Deftones and they were good, but I wouldn't consider buying a ticket to see them headline
