Based on what I've read whilst I've been lurking this thread for the last little while, I've gone ahead and ordered the fake Yeezy's. Butterfly / Balisong knives are (generally) illegal in Australia. As is most things with a double-sided blade, except like oyster knives. However I have found a bunch of alternatives I can’t bring myself to buy - some of the skills in these videos are ridiculous, like pen tricks but more embarrassing. I don’t need this plastic knife and I’ll never be that skilled. And I don’t need this and I’ll never impress anyone with my plastic knife skills. Some more expensive “training knives” here. I really don’t need this bottle/can opener butterfly knife either. And the classic comb knife that you could find in showbags in the 80s. Just want to thank whoever it was who posted the 'ninja warning' stuff, that's just fake acronym clothing. I spent about 10x more than anything else I've bought on ali on a coat and it just arrived. Seems pretty good. Haven't had a chance to test how waterproof it is but initial impressions are good!

What, because there’s a pull tab on it? That style of can opener cuts the whole top off in a way that it can be put back on as a lid. Using that opener on it makes sense if you want to close the can up again.

PayPal refunded me for the luggage I use my AMEX bc even if they didn’t I could always have them refund anything but I would never abuse it too much value to me with that card But all worked out fine with a PayPal case

I had one of the new style can openers for maybe a decade, I think because I bought it on a trip. It broke a few months ago and I’ve been using the punch & twirl style since. This thread is what finally got me to order a replacement.

What’s everyone’s experience with disputes? I’ve never had items just not show up before but now it looks like I’ve got two items that never received proper tracking numbers and the sellers are saying oh please keep waiting. I’m about to hit the time limit to file a dispute, but I also don’t want to file two disputes in rapid succession. I’ve had my account since 2016, so I’m assuming it shouldn’t be an issue..

I’ve only had to dispute one order before, but it was because they sent me the wrong size of a tshirt. Super easy, as long as it isn’t a pattern showing possible dispute abuse, you should be fine!

I’ve had a handful (out of hundreds of orders). Two for broken items and the rest were no shows - even after the buyer protection was extended out for another couple of months. The first time the seller was a real dick about it and asked for photos and videos as proof - I took a photo and said ‘there it is but it’s not working how am I meant to show it not working other than it sitting there’. Some try to bargain, like messaging you “half off your next order” or offering sell price minus shipping or half the price in refund, but the dispute system lets you respond by selecting the amount you want and I just go full amount. Others just haven’t responded to the dispute and AE defaults to refund if they don’t. I’ve got a refund for every dispute and am happy with the process - I wouldn’t trust the ones that message me on the side offering stuff, stick to the process.
