These couple of strips are about Mads Eriksen dealing with his return to making comic strips and that the norwegian comic market has changed (there's more focus on YA than on strips these days).

And that, I fear, is all there is. Maruoka seems to have pivoted to writing another, more different, cyberpunk bar series in a web magazine behind a paywall - Uramachi Sakaba hasn't updated since last November. There are a couple of pre-Sakaba short comics to share, and one more that is maybe a bit much for this thread (lots of nudity, one tame-ish sex scene), but I might share behind spoilers anyway.

Thanks for posting this, it's been a thread favourite of mine.

I can't really draw very well but also I would like to draw the bar owner and the antique dealer finally having a kiss. Just so that I know that somewhere in the world that exists.

To add yet another option, put this into Stylus/a similar extension of your choice:
code:
.item-comic-link-disabled, .js-item-comic-link, .item-comic-image {
    pointer-events: auto !important;
    cursor: default !important;
}
And then you can right click to copy the image just fine.

Unrelated but while trying to find this I found out that the 2020 thread is still hidden. Remove those old Far Sides faster, mods. :colbert:

Well, I hope the basic financial injustice of capitalism on the American higher education tuition fees does not overshadow what I am sure is going to be a sweet and funny story in A&J.

By the way, I seem to have built up a bit of a backlog of Blueberry. Would people prefer me posting every day until this story is over then going back the usual schedule, or would it be better to keep the pace I've been going at?

As long as we're sharing comics labor-savers, I figure I'll once again bring up the scripts I use for automatically snagging a list of comics, uploading them to imgur, and formatting the whole mess in SA bbcode, ready to drop into a new reply. Saves a lot of fiddly downloading and uploading and copy-pasting links one by one.

Comics Kingdom script: https://pastebin.com/w9JUH8S2
GoComics script: https://pastebin.com/9L19zbHw

Both of these require the imgur upload script found at https://github.com/tremby/imgur.sh.

They'll run natively on MacOS or Linux, but Windows users will have to install WSL and run them from in there. I know this is all a little esoteric if you don't happen to be a coder or sysadmin, so feel free to hit me up directly if you need a hand getting these going. And of course, these are just quick-and-dirty bash scripts that I threw together one day; if anyone wants to have a go at rewriting them properly (or at least to be more convenient for Windows users), please be my guest.

Your life and your quest end here.

Just tried to send someone a link to an old comic strip and discovered that Comics Kingdom has broken/removed the ability to share old comics with non-subscribers. You used to be able to generate links that looked something like https://comicskingdom.com/shared_comics/68dc5946-0b26-4270-8702-7d3f7469af5f that anyone could use to look at one specific strip from the archives, but now those old links are broken and you just get the standard url (https://comicskingdom.com/hi-and-lois/2010-03-30) which, if you don't have a paid account, just takes you to a page that invites you to subscribe.

The social media buttons are still there though, so you can very conveniently post a link to a page that will invite all your friends/followers to pay for a subscription. It'll look fine to you though, so you might not even notice that the thing you wanted to share isn't publicly available.
