Stepped on it while starting to lane change to overtake the truck and started losing the backend, threatening oversteer into the median Let off the gas and turned the wheel to correct. Snap oversteer kicks in so the back end continues to float with the sudden deceleration while the front tires dig in and they get all the turning force in the world now in the wrong direction. So instead of lane changing into the passing lane and getting ahead of the trucks they did a sick drift right into the ditch.

The oh gently caress attempted lane change into the passing lane but I put it into the outside ditch because of snap oversteer was such a common accident in 80s supercars and 90s sports cars that the entire generation of 00s performance cars revolutionized traction control systems specifically with the intent of stopping rich idiots from destroying their car in simple passing maneuvers. You can usually turn these off because quickest cornering takes advantage of some understeer and oversteer characteristics the TCS protects against so you still have really smrt drivers be like "i want the quick mode obviously" and immediately putting their brand new sports car into the ditch.
