Rotiform wheels recently (as best as I can tell) released Aerodisc additions for a couple of their cast monoblock wheels. Along with the aerodiscs themselves, they released a whole host of designs to print on vinyl to apply to these discs. I've only watched the beginning, but when they mentioned that the frames cost 650 that is worded quite a bit wrong. The succesful cars are under sale mandate. If you reach final or semifinal, then you will have to sell your car for 650 after the race if someone wants to buy it. Only the top S-class is free of this rule. This rule is similar to the rule in a long running "Everyman's class" racing series, where the price is 2000 and it also applies to non-succesful cars.

I've often wondered, how often does this actually happen? It's a great idea of course but it seems like either it would be so uncommon it's toothless as an enforcement mechanism or so common it's mostly used for spite due to personal grudges rather than good faith reasons.

In the everymans class each car is put on sale after the race. Everyone, including other 'teams' and spectators can buy a 30€ ticket for each car to buy it. The owner of the car gets to buy 3 tickets for 10€ each, to play the odds. Then a ticket is randomly picked and the winner gets to buy the car for the set price of 2000€. The best cars often get multiple bidders and change hands after every race. The money from the sele of the tickets goes to the race organiser.

I have read somewhere that if you have a good car in everyman's class the trick is to draft all your relatives and neighbours to try to buy the car. Should still be an effective limit on much money and effort it's practical to invest on your car.

I cannot understand how Toyota can execute so well on whatever involvement it had in the Toyobaru twins, the GR Yaris, the GR Corolla, and gently caress up every single aspect of the "Supra". All they had to do is put a ludicrous turbo motor and a manual transmission in the Lexus RC chassis.
