Finally watching Mob Season 2 and god this is so amazing. The cliffhanger in episode 8, the raising of the stakes in the 2nd half of the season. Meeting the new bads. All very good stuff.

I've only watched like 2 eps of K-On. and one ep of haruhi but close friends have recommended this order for maximum enjoyment.

yeah harukana's good mostly just i feel like a lot of the stronger parts of keijo are kinda weaker forms of stuff you'll see in other girls sports anime like saki and it never really grows into its own so the jokes run out pretty fast after the first few episodes. the manga's got a decent opening arc that the anime skips over and gives more time to expand on the characters in general but it's also just got some weird bits in the writing and the best character from that opening arc just kinda unceremoniously marries away out of the plot never to be seen again, kinda weird. if you want a good show for all the crazy sports super power stuff saki's about a bunch of weird girls who all have insane super powers they apply to mahjong, starting out on the lighter end with a girl who is literally invisible to everyone except her girlfriend so nobody ever notices her plays, and on the more extreme side there's a girl with the power to see forward in time but if she uses it too much she will literally die so she can only predict forward on so many hands The Colonel fucked around with this message at 22:16 on May 15, 2022 |
