You and I both know Roberts will squishily agree to anything asked of him.

"In a 6-3 decision, the supreme court allowed President DeSantis's "gently caress Off and Die, California" executive order to stand, forcing the state to halt gun seizures, and fully reimburse all guns already destroyed, or else lose all federal funding."

"the roberts court" doesn't necessarily mean he's making any decisions. the moderate roberts era lasted from 2005 to 2020

I mean the states that have legal weed are all ignoring the federal government but if California had their state police and natty guard go door to door collecting guns I can see a lot of lawsuits or whatever but as we have seen from Jackson to Trump, you can just go "okay they've made their decision so let them enforce it" and they can't do anything. The system only works if you give a poo poo about it.

I don't think anyone would mind because the last time California banned guns it was to disarm the black panthers and other minority groups, and chuds don't give a poo poo about them.

revolution isnt a volunteeristic endeavor so stop bitching about netflix

rome had the coliseum and it still fell into dust not from revolution but from economic and political mismanagement

same thing will happen in the US

the volunteer part only comes in the form of dual power organization to create a viable vision for the future after the actual collapse into warlord era US

"the church" in the us is not a coherent political entity, but i suppose some kind of ecumenical federation could eventually pull together our wayward and fractured christendom if the secular powers collapsed for a long enough time

it'd be a good opportunity to edit the socialism out of the bible, anyway

after the fall of DC, the former United States will still be united by a shared love of Disney franchises. The one shared law will be the enforcement of Disney intellectual property rights to the Princesses, Marvel, and Star Wars into perpetuity.

The first pope was Paul. He spent a huge amount of time killing Christians, and then met the spirit of Jesus and converted.
He's pretty much Plato to Socrates. So maybe we don't have a pope / paul yet.

Greene is a disciple?

Yeah either LDS drops the Book of Mormon (and keeps the divinely inspired prophets) or the Mainline Evangelicals slowly adapt it.

Blue state right libs openly aiding fash in crushing resistance to them seems reasonable. Reactionaries aren't going to secede, they're coming for you in your blue state and odds are good your government will help them do so, or at least stand by and offer no meaningful resistance while openly interfering to resistance toward reactionaries. Leftists will individually resist, but what I'm worried about is any attempt to organize will probably be infiltrated and destroyed by cops and both red and blue state governments so street fash can roll in and finish their work.
