Who would of guessed that the absence of credit checks would result in grifters figuring out they can take out loans they never intend to repay using worthless assets as collateral? Not me, that's for sure.

(also I work for a ucaas company so the fact that we use slack is double lol)

there was some late 19th or early 20th century mathematician, i forget who exactly, who said he explicitly worked on number theory because it's not useful for anything therefore it's not gonna be used in war or to hurt people or make the world a worse place in general cryptography's all based on number theory and by extension so is cryptocurrency and the massive waste of resources that accompany it. whoops
