not going to lie though, that three of the hypest moments in macross are, mylene filming the lynn minmay documentary, ranka filming the movie version of macross zero, and That Scene in delta, that don't really hit if you arent fully a macross weirdo

SDF is honestly an incredible show. It's Top Gun before Top Gun. It's one of the first really successful idol anime. It's a show in which a mech dresses up in a trench coat so it can pretend to be a giant person
