My experience with Mexico City was that it was really really hot and like a lot of hot cities, doing literally anything was hot, sweaty, and smoggy. In Miami at least you can go to the beach and do nothing. This is purely limited to coming to town for an event like a soccer game. Given the choice, I'd rather live in Mexico City over Miami.

Summer months (June-August) only have a high of 25 °C (76 °F) during the day and nights are typically a bit chilly 7 °C (44 °F).

Yeah Mexico City is, right now, at the hottest time of day in summer, sitting at 67F / 19.4C. To be fair, Miami isn’t super hot right now either at 85F / 29C, but it is still way hotter that Mexico City.

Having lived in at 32C/90F with 100% humidity and with 65% humidity, I can confirm humidity is the killer. The temperature doesn’t matter nearly as much.
