re: the mistrial motions, one thing that I find funny about civil trials is how many times you have to formally make motions that are essentially "I win, right? just say I won pls" like before the trial the defense will move to dismiss, then both parties move for summary judgment. then after the trial both parties will probably move for a directed verdict, and then after the verdict if you lost you move to set aside the verdict. this is all when you're doing it normally!!

i think instead of monetary damages, the judge should rule that alex’s show be stricken from the timeline. anyone who listened to it or had heard of it will now have a mysterious gap in their memory.

I want the judge to require Jones to do a few shows where he walks through the conspiracy step by step while Jones debunks every piece of it and admits he was wrong. Everytime he deviats from that he is fined 10k and given a year in prison. I'm talking poo poo like he shows clips from prior shows and explains why and how he is wrong.
