Most cases are pretty formulaic and predictable. The attorney’s both know the witness answers ahead of time, they’ve had evidence for weeks or months, their opening is written and they have a skeleton of their closing to fill in. The only surprise in most trials is how the jury will take the information and the ocassional slip up. This is why real trials are boring as gently caress to watch. This has been gold though.
