Hale might have taken the low offer because she's more prolific and has a lot of roles to fall back on. There's the old wisdom that even if you're a big name voice actor, you usually take the work that you can get, which might just be perpetuating a cycle of exploitation. I guess something that factors into it is if they considered the English VA a secondary localization expense as opposed to the main Japanese track. I wonder how much FIGS localized voice acting gets paid for AAA American games
