It is on the lighter scale of motorhomes and it still weights 6000 lbs empty. Also the centre of mass is quite high. Leaf springs and solid rear axle do not help. That said it is not that much worse than say a large SUV or truck. Those also handle like pigs. Of course there are the lift-top campervans based on V-Class and Transporter that are lighter and drive better, but then you do not have a washroom and they are not really usable in cold environments. Those of course handle nicer and are more easy to live with day to day.
