Ukraine is obviously a massive part of UK foreign policy, so a perfectly suitable topic for this thread in my opinion.

I mean it's a call in show so it's a trash fire because the public are a trash fire, and the presenters are also generally garbo because you can't run a talk show where you're actually right or knowledgeable about things because you would do nothing but scream at idiots on the phone.

I'm Indian and I know a lot of Indian right wingers, the Tories would gain a lot of votes if they accepted Rishi. Class is the key thing, and a lot of asians in the UK consider themselves in the upper class now even if the English aristocracy would never give them the time of day. Doctors and lawyers especially. A lot of words could be written about the caste system in India and the countries around modern India, but it is essentially just classism, just more codified. They may lose more votes from white people than they gain from brown people of course.

That's about £1 per commuter and surely if someone is going to buy a poppy they'll still buy it just maybe not in London on Nov 3rd, maybe on Nov 4th or Nov 1st or whatever, or even on Nov 3rd but jut not in London. So I don't see how they will actually lose anything at all. Either you're a poppy buyer or you're not.
