....why would you flip it "back and forth"? Once it hits 3/3, it's safe, right? I have popped the B cost to bring it back down from a 4/4 to a 3/3 to dodge a Destroy Evil once, but that's about it.

I have gotten used to quickly closing the program and clicking past the crash reporter to fire up a new copy before I rope out. Always seems to happen on my turn, though.

I saw a funny Golgari deck in historic today, Angel of Suffering with 4 Gaea's blessing in the deck, and a bunch of instants to protect it with Hexproof/Indestructible. Sort of a cheaper Platinum Angel with access to better removal.

standard sucks so loving much ] edit: lol played a loving match against azorius control that took 33 turns and 26 minutes and ended with me dying from empty library while they had 1 card in their library, there wasn't any milling involved, it was just them countering and exiling all my spells while they reshuffled them back in into their deck repeatedly, if there was an experience that was expressly designed to get me to physically harm someone while also giving up on magic forever it was that, i should have just ejected but it felt winnable for like 20 minutes and then it was sunk cost i legitimately feel like my whole day has been bottled and i want to go back to sleep CharlieFoxtrot fucked around with this message at 20:15 on Nov 6, 2022 |

Out of curiosity I made a mono black deck to test what I suspect and yes, you can get lots of people to scoop early just because mono B is so hated I'm only running two invoke even lol
