i made a thread for gathering up screenshots of funny verified tweets. i thought it would be cool to have an archive of them all in one place. i've seen so many good ones go by in this thread over the past few days, and i know i missed a bunch. feel free to cross post any you find to that thread. i doubt twitter can survive this rate of verified fakes for very long, either the site will implode or they'll be forced to turn the feature off, so enjoy this comedy bonanza while it lasts.

Generally, whenever you see headlines about a "big stock sell off!" or "largest 1-day drop for [stock]" have a look at the graph yourself, look at a longer timeline than they're showing you, and it's usually gone up like 20% in the last week and then dropped 10% in a day or whatever and made out to be some huge catastrophe. Still funny, though.
