I wonder how long it took to design and render that stuff back in the day.

Not as slow as you would think, but I would suppose it would depend on how good the CG artist is at the time. http://www.generationamiga.com/2020/08/30/how-24-commodore-amiga-2000s-created-babylon-5/ Here is an article about Babylon 5, which used 24 Amiga 2000's instead of a dedicated graphics machine. And it only took 45 minutes a frame.

And it ends with a little smoking hand, limply falling into frame.

Pringles aren't legally chips, they're crisps in the US. quote:In 1975, the FDA decided that the company could call Pringles “chips” only if they called out the dried potato ingredient. Instead, Pringles decided to use the term “crisps.”

And the cans do call out the dried potato ingredient anyway. Well done.

Is tuna on a Pringle really all that different from tuna on a cracker? Far from my favorite canned fish product, but it’s not like sickening

I don't think a Pringle has the right texture for it.

I do the eating tuna salad with pringles thing sometimes. You have to get the right flavor of pringles to suit your salad and use two crisps to scoop with. It's pretty much like eating tuna salad with crackers but with a little extra flavor from the chips. Overall it's unremarkable beyond an excuse to buy pringles.

busalover posted:yeah being into huge boobs and rear end is some weird new modern fetish Just the other day these ne'er-do-well 12-year-old Millennials who hang out by the local ice-cream social with their mohawks and their raps and their dubsteps were passing around these little carvings which I believe in their parlance is called a "thicc hoochie mama": This new form of degenerate behaviour is clearly the herald of the end-times. On a serious note, of course an AI trained on the internet will make women look like a thicc anime. Or else the kind of people will use it will make it so. One of the more worrying things about AI content generation is that it's trained by either the internet at large or largely male, largely white software engineers. This is why that famous extension of The Girl with the Pearl Earring is actually pretty loving repulsive when you think about it for a second or two because of course it places a woman in a domestic setting.
