I don’t know why people think it’s so wild that a guy doesn’t want to leverage himself against the one actual asset he has and eat into his cash flows just to pay a guy tens of millions to not work for him anymore. Sure, he could, but it’s not hard to see why he wouldn’t want to.

Hey look I agree. I'm not saying Davis can't get money. Im saying it exists within the realm of possibility the teams liquidity isn't conducive to losing another whatever million dollars paying out mcdaniels. Particularly if he's dumb enough to think Mcdaniels can turn it around

I watched a movie late last night where the credits were in the Oilers' old color scheme. I dunno how that team went from having some of the best colors of all time to some of the worst without anyone pumping the breaks or trying to bring the old scheme back at some point
