I’ve had to have a lot of barium imaging because my health is just helpful like that.
It’s just a glass of water that tastes a little metallic, and then you have to be paying attention to the point I totally could’ve been imagining any difference.
If you hate doing barium imaging, you hate slowly sipping a glass of water for a half an hour while you read a book. It’s the most benign medical test I can think of.

I think the idea is that even if she has single digit approval ratings, that would still be enough for a Republican to win. Looking at the recent election, Mark Kelly got 51.4% and Blake Masters got 46.5% (and some libertarian got like 2%). So let's say Sinema has an 8% approval rating, assuming no libertarian candidate, if the Dems fielded a candidate and Sinema ran as an independent, you could have a result where the Republican gets 47%, the Dem gets 45%, and Sinema gets that 8%. This results in a Republican victory. So right wing media is convinced this is a brilliant 5D chess move by Sinema, the Dems won't dare to field a Dem candidate against her for fear of a GOP victory ensuring she will remain a senator forever.
In actuality I think they're way off. Sinema does have some support but if she runs as an independent and the Dems field their own candidate, I'm not convinced that the Sinema supporters won't just vote for the Dem anyway because of fear of splitting the vote. Never mind that yeah, she won't have resources to run a decent campaign now. And honestly I feel like the Dems are so tired of her poo poo that they would rather a Republican win rather than have her stay in the Senate anyway.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever heard from a Sinema fan, like at all. The best I've ever heard anyone say about her was at best heavily qualified praise or defensive whataboutism. Admittedly I know very little about Arizona's voting demographics, but who is/was her constituency supposed to even be? Are there that many enigmatic contrarians in AZ?

Okay, inflation is taking a bite out of our wallets in large part due to rising food prices. However, I think I might actually be paying less for food than before because of planning my food purchases with much greater care.
This, of course, includes stocking up when there is a good sale on a food item. I did this just a couple of weeks ago when I bought a couple of extra frozen turkeys that were on sale at Publix for just 49 cents per pound. If I had a foot freezer I probably would have bought 10 such turkeys.
Another thing I do was download and use more restaurant apps. Yeah, yeah, I know. Some of you look down on fast food restaurants but for me I like stuff like burgers and don't notice and unhealthy side effects. I've mainly been using my McDonalds and Burger King apps. For example today I got BOGO Big Macs at McDonalds. Yesterday, I got maybe the best deal ever at Burger King where it said if you make any $1 purchase then you get a FREE Whopper Jr so I got a Rodeo Burger for $1.59 and a Whopper Jr for just $1.92 (with the tax) total. In fact, I liked the Rodeo Burger so much that I did that same deal AGAIN although I technically wasn't supposed to.
Besides apps, I also use GroupOn and Local Flavor for restaurant deals. In October they had the best deal yet with a 50% promo code discount for any restaurant which applied to the already discounted price. I used that deal on a Brazilian Steakhouse buffet that I've been wanting to try out but was put off by the price. At some restaurants, the discounted deals are cheaper than cooking at home.
Speaking of cooking at home, I am saving money by cooking cheap food in a way to make them quite tasty. Last week I saw chicken wings on sale for 99 cents per pound and then smoked them in my Weber grill after marinating them overnight. Right now I am sort of experimenting with Cheese Chicken by brining chicken leg quarters which sells cheap in the 10 lb bags at Aldis and then marinating them in buttermilk. I'll find out tomorrow how it works out.
One final thing: I wish I never took the $6.99 Prime Rib buffet at the Seminole Indian Casino in Hollywood (FL) for granted. They no longer have that deal but if they did, I would probably be eating there almost every day.

Try time restricted eating - I have black coffee only almost everyday; I lost 25 pounds in about 4 months, and all my blood work was much improved. You really don’t need three meals a day.

We’ve cut down a bit on some things such as having more hamburger meat than rib eyes lately (grass fed on both) but overall quality of food is the last thing I’ll scrimp on and those simple modifications have reduced our actual grocery store spend to about 400 $a week

Nothing new and different about this, but I seem to shop with more focus on cost-per-pound in the produce and meat depts. Under $2/lb is usually a decent deal on many items. Sometimes chicken parts or whole chickens are $.99 or $1.49/lb.
At our store, they package up the leftover ground beef (usually 90% or ground round) from the meat counter at the end of each day, and sell it in 2-3 packages the next morning. If you know where to look and have room to store. It used to be $2.99/lb, but lately has been marked at $4.99/lb. Probably a decent price, but I won’t pay that unless I have a recipe plan for which I need some.
Then can take the 3 lb packs home and divide into burgers or smaller packs, or just brown it all then divide for quick sloppy joes or add to spaghetti sauce, make tacos, etc.

Of course at the end she asks the Asian lady if she’s on Telegram.

The best part of this whole thing is that he isn't. Musk is one of the most thin skinned people to ever exist and the fact he even got a few boos, even if they were a small percentage (and it doesn't seem like they were) is absolutely eating him up. He can't be happy because he desperately wants to be universally loved and he isn't. It's why he has to constantly reply to everything critical he sees on Twitter, he tries to act cool and like it doesn't bother him but if he wasn't bothered by it he'd just not post. He'd just run the company and do coke off a hooker's rear end instead of tweeting 20 hours a day.

I don't know about a thread predicting the MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT but now that it's come out Freep is less than thrilled... There are a few posts in the thread defending this as a way to troll the libs or keep his name in the news or whatever, but most of the posts are like these:

That’s not correct.
If you go to the website it explains that you initially purchase the nft and then the card is MINTED and shipped to you.
I guess they want buy in before spending the money to create the card.

Read the website again. It says:
Once you successfully check out, your Trump Digital Trading Cards will be minted and delivered to your digital wallet. Log into your wallet (simply with your email address) to see which cards you've received. And then don't forget to check your email to participate in the sweepstakes!
NFT only, and you get a random card. You can't specify which card you get, so even if you bought enough cards for them all, you could end up with duplicates.
