And if he hadn't fired all the people at twitter that might of actually been able to make those sort of changes needed on twitters back end to make it work, this could of been a decent plan.

Anything so much as approaching sex work apparently has major hurdles it has to surmount to fly legally with financial bodies, and Elon has neither the skills nor the legal specialists to navigate those waters. So you're probably completely correct.

Aren't websites that financialize porn content heavily regulated? I'm pretty sure that only fans almost gave up on adult content entirely because of banks putting the squeeze on them

However, at least it's an idea that would generate enough non-ad based revenue to allow Twitter to survive if it was executed successfully.

There's been a Christian war on porn going on for years, and the most visible effects have been SOSTA/FESTA and when they get Mastercard and Visa on board.
