Christmas was busy, I've made the third of five trips I have to make from Engadine to the airport today (first drop off)

I'm at the Sutherland hospital, Mrs has had a pilonidal abcess flare up so waiting for the GP to bring back her antibiotic script.

The old bird on our left had some sort of gnarly vomiting spell, then between big voms "that's a kebab"

Old fella to the right had to get a gastronasal tube which was quite unpleasant to listen to

Now there's a young indigenous bloke who was found borderline unresponsive in his place, covered in his own blood from wounds to his arms and knees, who is being a massive pest to the nursing staff asking for a cup of tea (he may have to get stitches and surgery). Swearing a lot and carrying on like an entitled child.

He was absolutely shitfaced apparently. He keeps carrying on wanting to go home while also complaining about having to sit down because several wounds are actively still bleeding. I've had a gutful, thankfully he's not keeping the Mrs awake. He's acting very fucken entitled and obviously is a frequent visitor here.

What race were the other two?

Are there any banks or credit unions open to anyone, that support true 2FA? It's loving weird how this major bank I first set up with uses SMS bullshit, only on certain actions AFTER logging in.

Like this big Aussie bank let me log in and transfer 2k with only the password. Never prompted for anything else. And they don't support opting in to real mfa.

Yeah SMS is super weak because it's easy to trick people to give you a sim card with someone else' number. I want a bank that requires 2FA just to log in. This bank just let me log in and transfer thousands and didn't even require SMS.

ANZ lets you log in without 2fa but if you try to make a transfer it'll make you use their ANZ shield app to generate a code to process the transaction. The shield app has its own separate pin/login.

My Commbank app makes me enter in a pin/fingerprint to login, then fingerprint/pin to even access seeing my account values. I would like googleauth or something else though

Fun fact, Soft Roader WAS a legit category for them like 15 years ago. It covered a lot starting with lifted Stationwagons like the Holden Adventra etc.
