I was driving to a doctors appointment this morning when I hit some black ice on a bridge. I was doing 55 and lost it on the bridge. Thankfully no other cars around and I didn't hit the retaining wall, was close. Thankfully I'm fine and my truck seems okay. The tires on the right hand side had some mud and grass between the tire and rim, but still held air. It looks like the left lane was significantly less iced, you can kind of see it at the start. Was surprised that lovely beater made it across so I had to go back and look. Seems like you were just starting to get some of that grip up front but the rear end was already on its way around by then

We really need to normalize having videos posted of thrill-seekers going splat (or rather, post/talk about new articles discussing them go splat) more often. The bias of only seeing them pull of stunts perfectly really diminishes how dangerous and stupid what they're doing is, imo. Everybody knows that skateboarders fall and bang themselves up a lot. I suspect many don't think the same trial & error applies to parkouring across building tops?
