Well sure if he can afford home surveillance he can afford to re-reg. But he had a point. I mean, internet dog piles, probations... that which is necessary (or unavoidable) does not offend. But a ban linking to that post is a bad look. I'd drop litigating this if it were explained.

for example did you know that "land grant" universities means those colleges were "granted" a bunch of stolen native land? and that the universities "granted" land in 1862 who were already in the "settled" eastern part of the US were just randomly given a bunch of indigenous land in like loving California? like Cornell in NY has land all over the loving place https://www.landgrabu.org/universities that is an extremely good chunk of investigative journalism in that website

i haven't had much of a chance to work with our local tribes, but it seems super fraught. like not just federally recognized vs non-recognized issues, but as far as i can tell everyone in the space is related and has deep family beefs going on i did recently get to attend a workshop on cultural burning practices, and the tacos a community member was putting together were incredibly good. and i learned from an incredibly old man why expectant mothers shouldn't drink white sage tea

The chair neither confirms nor denies whether they'd considered this exercise as an excuse to 6er a bunch of posters. The chair is also an idiot and will not bother to read Robert's Rules unless directly cited or as is entertaining. Thus, Robert's Rules will be enforced selectively and capriciously unless/until a day or so or I get tired of this. The chair recognizes user "Discendo Vox" for a one-post comment.

fritz the horse is going to wake up and find his own head in his bed for this outrage free avs a strange fowl posted:that's so cool. an understanding of the local cultural burning should be essential for land managers anywhere. it was a great experience. it's always almost sobering when i am reminded that there is so much overlap between the natural resources in our landscape and the local native communities in fact it's almost strange to me how the deep relationship between native peoples and the land is repeated so often in our society that it's essentially almost a racist trope in mainstream media, yet even for its ubiquity it's not something i really began to internalize until a site walk in which a cultural specialist and i both raised concerns about preserving the same patch of wildflowers. for me it was about maintaining what little native plant cover there was in a sea of non-native grasses, for them it was because the bulb of the flower was a staple food for the local tribe and this patch was important context because it was very close to the footprint of an old village site there was much good conversation about the prevailing fear of fire, how that prevents the work that needs to happen, and how various members of the tribe see things differently also some excellent points about the imperialist aspect of existing policy. some good discussion on the fact that one of the first acts the spanish put into effect in southern california was a ban on burning. also someone called a calfire official a militarized colonizer to his face, so just lots of fun all around
