Judging by the last couple years, it seems like the January/February off-season is when they're trying to give away more free stuff and do more crossover dates to draw in network subs for lack of a PPV. Can't really say I blame them for that, but the alternative would also be just adding a new big winter event. They've had both Memorial Gate and Champion Gate in late February before, but something earlier could work. More tournament stuff for 2/23: 1) RdP Block A: Nagano/Kato vs Yoshioka/Kikuta 2) RdP Block B: YAMADoi vs Shun/KAI 3) 6-Man: Ultimo Dragon/Dragon Kid/Dragon Dia vs Mocchy/Susumu/Kanda Generational Dragons vs Original M2K is come good-rear end booking.

It's actaully baffling, like Mad Paulie was never fantastic but he took a massive downgrade when original Damnation broke up, Daisuke Sasaki puts even less effort in than he did when he was teaming with Hino, and KANON went from a guy I was real keen on during his debut to being bored during a Naruki Doi singles match the other day Is Minoru Fujita a talent vampire or something?
