TBH I think the Devils match up pretty good against the Rangers in a playoff series. They won't be able to clog the ice the way Boston or Carolina would. Maybe we get goalied but I think we have a good chance.

Ben Chiarot got a 1st and a 4th last year so it's hardly outlandish that Gavrikov will get the same. It is the solemn duty of the entire hockey media to talk up exactly one tall, lovely defenceman you've never heard of before like they're the second coming of Al Iafrate until they're traded for a massive return. This year it is Gavrikov and he must be traded for a 1st round pick or the sun will cease its movement across the heavens.
