Ed Nash will go into extreme detail on a supercharger. Not superchargers, a specific one on a specific engine. Very good for gearheads.

Archive footage channels like PeriscopeFilm & British Pathe are a goldmine

Kermit Weeks' style can be take-it-or-leave-it but he has the advantage of always having a physical example of whatever he's talking about in-frame with him at all times

There are a number of smaller channels with a more restrictive focus; I'm working my way through UK Aircraft Explored's comprehensive Lancaster walkthroughs right now; they also have a lengthy series on the Spitfire

Dear diary, I got another erection today at work. SO embarrassing, but kinda hot. The CO asked me to fix up his dress uniform. I had stayed late at work to move his badges 1/8" to the left and pointed it out this morning. 1SG spanked me while the CO watched, once they caught it. Tomorrow I get to start all over again...
Greg’s a pretty nerdy dude but he has some great videos that delve into the differences things like supercharging versus turbocharging of piston aircraft, which side had what octane fuel available, etc. quotes and shows a lot of aircraft manuals for the time too.

I think he actually adressed it once in a video. When you meet him somewhere in an airport, he's likely at work and not really in the mood or in the position to do more than just say 'hi', and quite likely pretty tired after a shift.

It's possible that i/we don't know things that others know, but i reckon there's a significant chance that someone got told to quit following him in the airport/quit trying to get his attention and he had to be bitchy to get some fanboy to leave him alone. Youtube fanboys can be a hassle to deal with...

Uh this worked out ok last time so I'll try again

Looking for a flight going round trip from CLT to ICN in early April, but specifically on a 747, since I've never flown on one. Slightly flexible on dates and times. Only one leg needs to be on a 747

Thoughts?

Other option is one of the KAL flights from JFK is on a 748. I think those are the two logical options for a single connection.

Yeah, this is more likely than the F-35 simply based on *noise* as well as the F-35 not being as maneuverable.

I also can't see them loving the idea of having to move F135s around the country for mx.

There's also a chance on KAL that you might be flying the *last* commercial 747 built for passenger use, HL7644.

Going by plane spotters, it seems it pulls more duty flying between Korea and China, but it has been spotted at LAX.

They retired 007. Fun fact! My mother was a booking agent for Korean at the time, and she had taken a few days off to get married. She had no idea the flight was shot down.

She apparently booked somebody on the flight, but they had to transfer from LGA - JFK. They missed the transfer and subsequently didn't die
